What are the developmental tasks of adolescents, and how can we as workers support these in our young clients? This training will present models for thinking about the work and intervening. It will also include -

• How to assess what's going on for the adolesent while establishing an alliance with them.
• How we can roll with the clients' 'resistance' to engaging with us.
• How to engage parents as allies in the work.
• Ways of working with adolescents who are depressed and/or behaving aggressively will also be explored.
