If you are working in couples counselling, this 2 day training will be useful in exploring ethical dilemmas as well as developing skills in the area of working with couples where there is controlling behaviour that results in abuse and even violence. Lines of enquiry inviting the abusing one to address their behaviour will be demonstrated whilst not putting the abused person at risk. As well, participants will have the opportunity to practice generating questions that will enable the one abusing to change their behaviour.
