More information for employers
Relationships Australia will do everything possible to arrange an appointment for counselling or mediation at one of our branches within three working days. If face-to-face appointments are not practical, telephone counselling can be arranged.
After our EAP coordinator has made an assessment of your needs a fee structure will be agreed upon.
Our registered psychologists, social workers, counsellors, mediators and trainers have experience working with a range of clients – organisations, individuals, couples and families. All staff work within strict ethical guidelines under our policies and procedures. Clinicians are required to attend a minimum of four days per year professional training and development and receive regular professional supervision.
Once an EAP arrangement has been set up, there are several methods to access services:
• for counselling, all staff may self-refer to one convenient phone number with access to a range of branch locations
• as a manager you may wish to provide our “EAP-Information for Employees” brochure, or refer to this page on our website
• to use EAP in dealing with difficult issues and/or providing professional development for staff, managers can contact the EAP coordinator
• Please note: EAP is not a crisis service. We encourage the use as a preventative and intervention tool.
Simply call and ask to speak to our EAP coordinator who can assess your organisational needs and develop a customised service contract.
